To help ensure the success of students, AJMS will be offering free after-school academic assistance to help ensure that students are able to progress to the next grade level. The academic assistance program will begin on Monday, March 25th, and continue through Thursday, May 2nd. Students will stay Monday through Thursday from 3:30-5:00 pm. Transportation WILL NOT be provided by the LCSD, therefore parents/guardians will have to make arrangements to pick up their student each day.
This is a free-of-charge program and all that we ask is that your student participate each day of the program to gain academic skills and boost their grades. Students selected to participate are on the verge of not passing two or more of their core content area classes. If your student does not attend this program, and does not pass these classes, he/she will be required to attend summer school this summer.
