Tuesday, May 28, will be an A-Day. Tuesday is also Field Day.
Students who have purchased a yearbook will receive them on Tuesday, May 28, after Field Day. We have a few remaining yearbooks available for purchase. Beginning on Wednesday, students will be able to bring $35.00 cash with exact change to purchase a yearbook. These yearbooks are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Kona Ice will be here on Wednesday, May 29, for all lunches. Prices range from $4-$7, and both cash and card will be accepted.
8th grade promotion practice and picnic will be Wednesday morning, and students must be present to participate in the ceremony Wednesday evening. Please remember that all fines and fees must be paid by 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, or your child's report card and awards will be held until paid.
The eighth grade promotion ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 29, at 6:30 p.m. Students must be present and in line by 6:15 p.m. Parents will enter through the main doors and students will enter through the side door.
The seventh grade awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 29, in the middle school gym at 10:30 a.m.
The sixth grade awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 29, in the VPAC gym at 2:00 p.m.
This is a reminder that all medication in the nurse's office must be picked up by an adult by Wednesday, May 29, 3:00 p.m. Any medication that is left will be disposed of.
Any rising 7th grader who has not received their TDap immunization needs to receive this immunization before August.
If your student will be needing medication at school next school year, please let Nurse Reeves know and she will get you the paperwork you need.
Thursday, May 30, students will be dismissed from school at 10:30 a.m.
Friday, May 31, students will be dismissed from school at 11:15 a.m.
Rising seventh graders and eighth graders can now submit their request for Encore classes for the 2024-25 school year using the form on the school website. The forms are due by May 31 and must be verified by a parent or guardian. Email addresses for the consenting parent or guardian must be included on the survey request. Schedules for next year will be formulated using these requests, and no schedules that are created according to the request will be changed.
Finally, information concerning football was sent home with students this week. Return the sent form filled out as soon as possible. If you need another copy, please see Coach Allen.
