Please remember, we have an empty water-bottle policy at Andrew Jackson Middle School. Students are not allowed to bring open bottles containing any liquids. If they do, they will be asked to pour it out at the water fountain, where they will then be allowed to refill their bottle.
Parents, when in the car-rider line, please pull forward as directed by the teachers directing traffic. Your student will only then walk down to where you have been directed to stop. This is to assist with the flow of traffic through the line.
Students being picked up for early dismissal must be picked up by 3:00 p.m. Students will not be dismissed early following 3:00 p.m.

Tardiness can disrupt the learning process for both the tardy student and other students in the class, and the tardy student may miss important instruction. The grades 6 through 12 Tardy Procedure is as follows:
First and second offense–verbal reminder
Third offense–warning
Fourth offense–detention
Fifth offense–two days detention
Sixth offense–administrative discretion beginning with one day of ISS for the sixth tardy and progressing
