Andrew Jackson Middle School eighth grade students have been invited to tour the Lancaster Career Center (LCC) at 625 Normandy Road in Lancaster on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. The career center offers vocational and technical education courses to high school students throughout the Lancaster county school district. Eighth grade students benefit from this in-person opportunity to learn more about LCC programs before registering for ninth grade courses in February.
Students will board buses at AJMS at approximately 8:45 a.m. It is critical that your child is present for school on time. The tour will be held from 9:30 until 10:55 a.m. Students should arrive back at AJMS by 11:45 a.m. The remainder of the day will be on a modified schedule, but will include lunch and primetime at the regular times.
Please print the 8th grade field trip form, sign, and return the bottom portion of the form no later than Monday, October 7, 2024. This will allow us to place students into tour groups and to determine staff coverage for students who are not attending the field trip. There is no fee to attend this field trip and parent chaperones will not be necessary.
