As you’ve all been aware, we’ve had a such a busy few weeks! We are going to help you play catch up with a bunch of throwback posts over the long break. In fact, we’re going to start early with a post from Ms. Buck’s 6th Grade Science class!
She writes, “As part of our science curriculum, students participated in a hands-on lab activity where they used rulers to measure reaction time when they were distracted versus when they were not distracted. This lesson provided the students with a great opportunity for them to explore the connection between the nervous system and our physical responses. We connected the learning to real-life example of texting and driving, and how distracted driving in any form could result in an accident.”
Thanks for sharing, Ms. Buck! What an awesome lesson!
