Don't forget- Last Chicken Biscuit sale of 2023!! We will see you bright and early in the car rider line!

Congratulations to Ms. Anderson, Ms. Riddle and Ms. Gavigan, as well as ALL of our Chorus and Band students, on beautiful performances Tuesday and Wednesday Night! To see how far our Warriors have come in a short amount of time is incredible. Students have their first in-school experience in chorus or band when they get to ILIS. So at minimum they just picked up their instrument or started singing in chorus for the first time in August, at most they’ve been playing for almost a year and a half. Their teachers take the time to not only help them learn how to play their instrument or sing as a group, but also teach them music theory to help them understand what they’re doing on a deeper level.
Congratulations again to our talented Warriors! We are already looking forward to the Spring concerts!

Tonight we have our amazing Band’s Winter Concert! Some of our Warriors are in their second year, some have just picked up instruments for the first time this August. But all of our Warriors have worked incredibly hard under the guidance of Ms. Riddle and her assistant Ms. Gavigan to get to where they are today!
We hope you're able to see them perform tonight at the ILHS Auditorium! Concert starts at 6:30pm. As always, it's a clear bag policy at the door.
💛💙Good Luck tonight, Warrior Band!💙💛

Perfect Pairs day was a hit! The amount of twins, trios and groups that participated yesterday way surpassed expectations! Some were crafted, some were curated, some were identical down to every detail. Our Warriors did an AMAZING job, and were *so creative*! Be sure to scroll through, and check out even more photos on Facebook, the looks were on point. 😁
We can’t thank our families enough for all the participation we’ve had in our dress up days during this December to Remember. But guess what- we aren’t done yet! Tomorrow is Clash of the Carolers (5th wears yellow, 6th wears blue, ALL staff wears black!). On the 19th we have Over the River and Through the woods- rock your best camo and plaid!

We are so excited to kick off ILIS's Winter Concerts with our 5th & 6th Grade Chorus! Ms. Anderson and her students have worked hard to create a beautiful program and we hope you're able to make it! Students will be performing ✨TONIGHT✨ at 6:30pm at the high school auditorium.
Be sure to check the comments on Facebook to see clips and get a sneak peek into the music you'll hear tonight! We are so proud of them. 💙
💡Please remember this is a clear bag policy!

We are sending a 🍕HUGE🍕 thank you to our incredible PTO Board and PTO parent volunteers for not only covering lunch duty so teachers can take a few minutes to recharge, but also for providing a delicious favorite to the WHOLE staff for lunch! King of Fire hit the spot on this crisp day, and it's a great way to start off the week. The last FULL week before break, at that!
We are beyond grateful for all you do for us, PTO! From helping out with in-house day to day projects to manning major events like Boosterthon, we are so lucky to have an amazing team supporting our school. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 💙💡💛

While Mr. Pendarvis would have won by a landslide, Ugly Sweater Day wasn’t a competition! We were all winners seeing the festive frocks- some battery operated, some trimmed in tinsel. There wasn’t a classy sweater to be seen in the halls! You all did SUCH a great job today!
Next up is PERFECT PAIRS. Find a twin or make a group, and wear matching outfits. Is it a coincidence that it landed on 12-12? Actually, it was something we realized later. 😂 But that’s okay.
We can’t wait to see double, or triple, or more next Tuesday!

Comfy, cozy jammies had us all in a GREAT mood on this Tuesday. ☺️ The school spirit this year has been top notch. Thank you to our Warriors for your participation!
We have Toys for Tots tomorrow (thank you in advance for your donations!) and Thursday we have our Ugly Sweater day. Can’t wait to see everyone in their gear!

Who wants dishes and a mess in the kitchen on a Monday night?! Not us!
Get a delicious meal AND help out your favorite local Intermediate School on Monday at Empire Pizza (Indian Land Location)!
Thank you so much for your support, and enjoy your dinner!

❄️🤍✨Whites, sparkles, and shiny patterns catching in the light!✨🤍❄️
We started off December to Remember with “SNO-MG” on this festive Friday. Thank you to students and staff alike for participating in the fun. Next we have “Cozy, Comfy Pajama Day” on Tuesday, followed by Donation Day on Wednesday, 12/6. Please bring in an unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots program!

Hey Warrior Families!
Our Media Center needs your help! We know in this day and age not many people are getting magazines at their home but we are still using them here for projects! If you have any old magazines you can drop them off in our front office or send them in with your students. Thank you so much!

Let us help take care of dinner plans on Monday, December 4th! Check out Empire Pizza in Indian Land, and be sure to mention ILIS!

We are so impressed by these students' hard work. Miss Phillips's 5th Grade Social Studies classes had their inventors/inventions research project presentations this week! The kids worked very hard to research their inventors and prepared wonderful presentations to share with the class. And now you!
Great job, Warriors!

Our Lost and Found is full of clothes, water bottles and lunch boxes that just want to be home for the holidays! Help these pieces make their way back to their rightful owners by looking to see if your student's item is here.
As always: we highly recommend writing your child's name on their items, and encourage them to check the lost and found now and then!
Unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the week!

Menu Change for Monday, November 27th

From the ILIS Family to yours, we want to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving! We are thankful for many things: the generous support of our students' families and members of our community, the people on our campus who work so hard every day, and especially for our amazing students. We couldn't be more proud of our Warriors. Something we'd love to highlight is the generosity of everyone who contributed to our Kindness Bundles Drive. We may not know who won the ACTUAL Clemson vs Carolina game just yet, but in house it was Carolina who took the title at ILIS! Please be sure to click through this post. Ms. Crider's class did something EXTRA special with the drive. They had a sign up genius and had students bring in items to fill the bags, and then together created dozens of Kindness Bundles to donate to Yoga Bill's initiative. You guys are amazing! On Monday, our Ambassadors helped Yoga Bill stuff his car to the brink with everyone's donations so he can get these much needed supplies out to those in need. Again- Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families. We can't wait to end the calendar year with a bang! December to Remember starts FRIDAY! Have your students wear something white, or something with sparkles/shiny!

We want to send a VERY big thank you to our incredible ILIS PTO for organizing our Pie and Muffin Drive, which was a huge success! And thank you to our amazing community for donating! PTO was stationed bright and early in the rain, ready to receive treats in the car rider line and off the bus. Then, they worked hard to distribute them to each and every staff member according to their order. We are very thankful to have one less thing on our plate as we roll into the Thanksgiving Holiday. We appreciate our community and PTO so much!!
Have a very Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! We will see you all back on campus Monday, November 27th!

Please note the menu change for TOMORROW, 11/21!

Happy Friday, Warriors! Ms. Weaver's 5th grade Social Studies class has a fun project they'd like to share with you!
She writes, "As we’ve journeyed through the Second Industrial Revolution, we have learned about the many inventors, and inventions, of this time period. Students chose an inventor to research. They created presentations and shared what they learned. Students even made 'bottle people' that looked like their inventor."
Be sure to take a good look at not only the smiling faces, but the super cool "bottle people." Ms. Weaver always finds a way to bring history to life!

RISE AND SHINE, IT'S CHICKEN BISCUIT TIME!!! See you at 7:25am in the car rider line!
