Does your child need bus transportation for Orientation Day on August 9, 2024? This request is for Orientation Day bus riders ONLY. Go to our district webpage or your school's webpage and complete the "Orientation Day Bus Request" by Thursday, August 1st - THIS Thursday. Complete the google form ONLY if you need bus transportation.
Pickup times will be posted to the Transportation Department's website and Facebook page.
Bus requests for the 2024-2025 school year can be made at hoodini.school when you update your child's information. If you have any questions on accessing hoodini.school - contact our PowerSchool Department at 803-286-6972.

Beginning this summer, LCSD will phase out our current email/call communication system, Blackboard Connect. It will be replaced with Apptegy Alerts. Be on the lookout for communication from this new system and do not "delete" or "unsubscribe." The Multilingual Learner Department is hosting a workshop for parents on Saturday, May 11th at Clinton Elementary School.
Parents can join this free legal workshop and learn about Last Will and Testaments, and Advance Directives. In this meeting, we will have an attorney from South Carolina Legal present and parents will have an opportunity to ask questions about their concerns.
We will also have a guest speaker, Nurse Lever, to share important information about vaccination requirements and other school health services.

MUSC is offering FREE sports physicals again this year on April 26 and May 3, 2024.
The MUSC Vaccine Van will be returning to middle and high schools on April 23rd and 24th to offer vaccinations to students who are VFC-eligible following this schedule:
