What a great week celebrating National County Government Month! Lancaster County elementary students were recognized Monday night at the Lancaster County Council meeting. On Tuesday, student leaders from our four high schools participated in a Mock Council Event. We appreciate Lancaster County and the Lancaster County Council partnering with us!
Multilingual Parent Meeting
Teacher of the Year and Beginning Teacher of the Year recipients joined the current Teacher Forum for a Meet & Greet this week. The Teacher Forum Mission, Structure, and Professional Development plans were shared together with a visit from SC Teacher of the Year, Renee Atkinson. We value the leadership of these teachers. Congratulations!
Students, families, and staff enjoyed a day of competition, food, and fun last week at the Lancaster County Special Olympics. The joy was overwhelming. Thank you to everyone who partnered to host this event!
Discovery School recently hosted their annual festival to celebrate the learning of their students. In addition, they welcomed children's author, Pam Rutherford who shared her book Rasmussen, the Plain Brown Mouse. The title is the first in a series of six.
